Answers to common questions about assembling your new L-shape desk
Can I change my L-shape to be a right return/left return after purchase or assembly? Can I change my L-Shape into a Curved Corner at a later date?
What’s wonderful about our three leg frame is that it’s so versatile! It comes with parts required to assemble it into the L-Shape or the Curved Corner, so make sure you keep those extra parts not used in the original configuration, in case you want to switch from the L-Shape to the Curved Corner or vice versa. When ordering the L-shape desk online, you can select a right or left return, but the in-stock desktops come predrilled to accommodate both left and right returns. For example, if you order a left return and decide that you want to assemble it with a right return, the parts are exactly the same, simply follow the assembly instructions for which return side you prefer. Our custom made to order laminates are also pre-drilled for both extensions, although the custom solid wood L-shaped tops are pre-drilled only for the extension you order. If you change your mind on what side you want the extension, you can always drill your own holes
Is it okay if my crossbar end doesn't go over the seam of my L-Shaped desk when I have a right return?
This is normal. When assembling in the left return configuration, the longer crossbar end faces the return and the shorter one faces the main desk. When assembling in the right return configuration, the shorter crossbar end faces the return and the longer one faces the main desk. This will not affect assembly or stability of the desk.
